Exchange and Return Policies: Purchases

These policies apply to online and in-store purchases from Tuxedo Fashions. Deadlines begin when you receive your order or collect your in-store purchase. Online purchases may also be brought to our San Jose store for a return or exchange.

Returns for a Refund

To qualify for a refund, eligible merchandise must be received back by Tuxedo Fashions within 15 days of your receiving the order.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method. We do not charge a restocking fee or deduct the original shipping charge from your refund.

Exchanges

Request an exchange within 7 days of receiving your order. Ship the original merchandise back within 15 days of receiving your order, or bring it to our store within that same period.

Exchanges are subject to availability. One exchange per item includes free shipping in both directions, provided the deadlines and merchandise conditions below are met. This includes exchanges for size, fit, color, or style. Additional exchanges do not include free shipping.

If your approved replacement is unavailable, you may receive a full refund instead, provided the original merchandise is received back by us within 30 days of your receiving the original order and meets the conditions below.

Merchandise Conditions

Items returned for a refund or exchange must:

• Be in their original packaging.
• Be unused and undamaged.
• Include original tags, if applicable.
• Be unworn and unaltered.
• Include the receipt or proof of purchase.

Special orders are excluded from returns and exchanges.

How to Arrange a Return or Exchange

Use the request form above.  You may also bring your purchase and proof of purchase to our San Jose store within the applicable deadline. 

Before mailing merchandise, contact us for approval and shipping instructions. Eligible returns for a refund include free return shipping. For an eligible first exchange, shipping in both directions is included. Contact us to obtain the appropriate shipping label.

Submitting a request does not by itself complete a return or exchange. The applicable shipping or receipt deadline and merchandise conditions still apply.

Rental Returns

Rentals follow our Rental Contract, rather than the purchase return and exchange policy above.

• Return deadline: Return your rental by the agreed return date shown on your rental order or agreement.
• Late returns: A fee of $20 per outfit, per day applies until the outfit is returned.
• Loss or damage: Repair or replacement charges may apply as described in the Rental Contract.
